Renault presents the Megane Evision study. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with the current Mégane, but is on a new platform that was only developed for e-cars. At 4, 01 meters in length, it is much shorter than the Mégane, promising with a wheelbase of 2, 77 meters but a very generous amount of space.

The electric motor delivers 130 kW and thus considerably more than the electric drive in the Opel Mokka-e, which has roughly the same dimensions. A battery with an energy content of 50 kWh, the maximum charging power is 130 kW. In the series model, which should follow next year, Renault will probably offer several battery sizes – just as Volkswagen is currently rolling out in its ID models. Renault does not mention prices yet, we are counting on around 30. 000 Euro for the basic model.
