NAS servers are mainly associated with physical machines – computers based on x (x – 64) or ARM. Such a computer, apart from the obvious purchase, must also be equipped with disks, connected to the existing network infrastructure, and the whole thing must be maintained. This is usually not a major problem for home users, where the entire solution used to store their own collections is especially complicated or requires a lot of attention (mostly plug-and-forget).
