According to the latest rumors published by Videocardz , the Radeon RX 6900 XT will be the spearhead of AMD’s RDNA 2 GPU range. Available perhaps in limited quantities, the card would have 5120 stream processor and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on bus a 256 bit.

The puzzle that will lead us to know the new ones in detail Radeon RX 6000 by AMD earns, day after day, new pieces: between specifications and names, it seems that the design is to become complete. The Videocardz site says it has come into possession of various information that it deems reliable and verified, and has shared it with the world.

First, the name of the “ top of the range “, the long awaited” Big Navi “: the card should be called Radeon RX 6900 XT . At the heart of this proposal there should be a GPU called Ships 21 XTX with 80 Compute Unit , i.e. 5120 stream processor . The card, according to the source, will be available “ in limited quantities “, although it is unclear whether initially or in general. The new proposal would also have “ 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on bus a 256 bit “, with a GPU set to 2040 MHz regarding the Game Clock, but with the ability to reach 2330 MHz in Boost.

Big Navi’s younger sister should be called Radeon RX 6800 XT : on board there would be a castrated version of Navi 21 XTX named Ships 21 XT with 72 Compute Unit ( 4608 Stream Processor ) flanked by 16 GB of GDDR6 memory , also in this case on bus a 256 bit. The new proposal should have a Game Clock of 2015 MHz and a boost frequency of 2250 MHz (these would be reference frequencies, the OC versions of the manufacturers should go further) .

There should be a Navi GPU instead 21 XL to move the Radeon RX 6800 , strong of 64 Compute Unit (4096 SP) and again by 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on bus a 256 bit. The card would have operating frequencies of 1815 MHz as regards the Game Clock and 2105 MHz in Boost. The three proposals mentioned should form the launch offer of the Radeon RX range 6000 scheduled for 28 October .

Subsequently (perhaps in January ), as is permissible expect, AMD should also present the series RX 6700 , consisting of two models called Radeon RX 6700 XT and RX 6700 based on GPU Ships 22 . Model XT would count on 40 CU (2560 SP) active, accompanied by 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on bus a 192 bit . Videocardz suggests that it also has information on the performance of the cards (in addition to what AMD spreads) and on the “special” cache (Infinity Cache?) Which should allow the cards to reach high frame rates despite reduced buses, and will probably spread more details in next hours. Obviously, as always, as these are unverified items, take them with due caution.
