The Raspberry Pi Foundation unveiled the Raspberry Pi 400 , a computer integrated in a compact keyboard (286 x 122 x 23 mm): its price in the version with Italian layout is 74, 90 EUR. It is a ready-to-use product (or almost), just connect a couple of cables to start using a system that recalls the systems of the years 80 like the Atari. Its purpose is clearly to offer itself as a low-cost PC for children, schools and simple hobbyists .
Totally fanless, the computer keyboard is technically similar to the Raspberry Pi 4 , in fact it has a Broadcom BCM 2711 quad-core (ARM Cortex-A SoC to 64 bit) at 1.8 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and Wi-Fi ac connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, Bluetooth LE and Gigabit Ethernet.
Also present two micro-HDMI ports, which means you can connect two 4K screens , in addition to two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0 and one USB C for power. Obviously there is no shortage of a slot microSD (for the operating system and save your data) and the GPIO connector .
Beyond to the Raspberry Pi only 400, the foundation allows you to purchase a kit consisting of the product, a mouse, a power supply, a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable and a preformatted microSD card, as well as a guide for novices , to 106 EUR.
