Razer released its first enclosures: the Tomahawk ATX and Mini-ITX
Source: IO Tech added 16th Oct 2020The Razer’s first enclosures are equipped with relatively low-key Chroma Underglow lighting that glows beneath the raised base of the enclosure’s paws.
. Razer has unveiled its first computer cases at its RazerCon 2020 virtual fair. The case, branded as Tomahawk, will be available in a mid-tower ATX model as well as a smaller ITX model. Both are clearly identifiable as belonging to the same family.
Both sides of the steel housings are made of tempered glass and open with hinges. The glass panels can also be lifted off their hinges to facilitate installation work. The front panel of the cases is decorated with a green LED-illuminated Razer logo. The enclosures are ventilated through the rear fan, the perforated roof and the front grille side grilles. At least the roof is equipped with a dust filter, but for example a possible dust filter on the front panel is not mentioned on Razer’s website
. Tomahawk’s RGB lighting is clearly different from the mass, as the lighting, dubbed the Razer Chroma Underglow, is placed at the bottom of the case to shine light from under the case raised by the paws. The enclosure I / O panel is located on top of the enclosure and, in addition to the power and reset buttons, has one Type-C connector, a separate microphone and connected microphone / headphone connector, and two USB Type-A connectors.

Fan locations have been omitted from the technical specifications because Razer has not remembered to mention them in the enclosure data. Based on the pictures, the Mini-ITX is equipped with one fan slot at the front and rear and two at the ceiling and floor. In the case of the ATX enclosure, only one rear slot and three fan slots on the roof can be determined with certainty, but there are likely to be three fan slots on the front panel as well. The fan slots on the bottom of the ATX version, if present in addition to the power supply, are not shown in the illustrations.
Both Tomahawk cases are pre-orderable at Razer’s U.S. online store, which promises to begin shipping on Nov. 5. So far, European e-commerce does not have the same opportunity or information on delivery times. Tomahawk ATX is priced in Europe 229, 99 and Mini-ITX 199, 99 to the euro
