Razer Wolverine Chroma V2 Xbox Series X|S Controller Review – Mecha-Tactile Satisfaction
Source: Tech Power Up added 16th Mar 2023Introduction
Since before the turn of the millennium, Razer has been ingrained in the cultural consciousness of gamers.
With their beginnings as a subsidiary of kärna LLC, producing the Boomslang mouse, they opened the door for gamers looking for something special. Though that Razer shuttered, it was reborn in 2005. The company has since made leaps and bounds, tackling a wide range of accessories and devices to earn a cult following.
My first performance mouse was a Diamondback, and I used that mouse until just about every part of it died. That’s not a fault to Razer, that’s just what hours a day over years will do for you. Though my tenure as a mouse and keyboard gamer is mostly at an end, I have spent a lot of time with controllers as they have evolved over the years, usually sticking to OEM units.
Today, we will be looking at the Wolverine V2 Chroma – the next generation in Razer’s Wolverine family of controllers, available in black or white. Carrying the Chroma moniker, this controller features adjustable RGB lighting, alongside upgraded “Mecha-Tactile Switches” on some face and shoulder buttons.
