Red light on the modem? TIM down network: many reports in different parts of Italy

In many parts of Italy there is a down on the fixed TIM internet network, whether ADSL or fiber, was reported. Given the extent of the disruption, work is certainly underway to restore normality, although there is currently no official communication on the matter.

The internet doesn’t go at home and a worrying light shines on the modem red? Rome, Milan Florence, Naples, Turin, Verona, Padua, Brescia and we could go on further: there are many emails that arrive to report a down to the TIM fixed network, in general. A very important and generalized problem, on which TIM is certainly working.
It is therefore useless to blame cables, modems, restarts or other. The problem is now well known, with a peak in reports that began this morning at around 4 am. Waiting for an official TIM press release or any information on the reasons for the down, all that remains is to wait and organize in another way, if possible. We will not fail to update you as soon as we know something more.

Several users are receiving replies confirming the generalized problem upstream, which is why no home intervention will be needed .
