Every year there are interesting launches, which keep the whole community of enthusiasts on fire, but it seems that in no year have we had so many important launches, and the first was undoubtedly the launch of the new generation of Nvidia Ampere graphics cards. RTX 3080 entered our lives like Godzilla in an innocent Japanese town and even if RTX 3090 is capable of performance and higher, at the moment I think that RTX 3080 is the most desired, the most sought after and why not the most tested video card on the planet.
And we’ve tested several implementations so far, from the interesting Founders Edition, cool ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming OC, passing through the silent MSI GeForce RTX 3080 GamingX Trio and reaching the fierce ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 ROG Strix OC . I tested any RTX 3080, RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 has reached our test table so far, totaling no less than 11 graphics cards from the Nvidia RTX series 3000 tested so far.
And it looks like something was missing. Because in the last 12 years, I haven’t always had the top of the range from Palit, or EVGA, for example. But always, GIGABYTE tried to bring us the strongest board in each series of products, especially since the appearance of the old SOC series. Of course, the SOC series no longer exists, but its place, at least spiritually, has been taken by the products of the AORUS Xtreme series, real beasts that push the limits of the imagination, even for the most extreme users.
Don’t you believe me? Of course, I didn’t think I would be surprised by anything after testing so many RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 -hate. By the time the ground shook, the courier’s arms softened, and he barely handed me the package, his gaze horrified, begging me to take the beast off his head. And the moment I opened the box, Gozilla, in all its splendor, entered the laboratory. Only this time, she saw from Taiwan, not Japan, and her name was AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 XTREME 10 G.
