Ah, ah, children and brothers,
Stay like this and don’t leave
You sit next to the Monster
And enjoy the story
That I came with babane plates
With baroque frequencies,
And then, to have fun
I said to overclock them
Let’s see which one is cooler
Which fps is bigger
Which company can say
C -has the best plate!
Manati mai, hai hai!
Ohohooo, dear Monster, good luck -I found it on Christmas day! I hope that you are each at your home, with family or friends, ready to unwrap your gifts and enjoy your chosen dishes, to everyone’s taste. We, in the Monster family, have been very hardworking this year, as a result the pickles, sausages, sarmales, homemade bread and cakes are ready, and we are preparing, small and large, for a rich meal with the family.
We were also diligent on the site, as you probably saw, 2020 being the year in which we published the more articles since the existence of LAB 501 and until now, the performance that I hope we will not have the opportunity to repeat, due to the trips we will undertake next year . With an emphasis on the word “hope”.
However, not only did I spend much more time at home / in the office because of the abundance of articles I published this year, but also manufacturers, who launched product after product at an incredible pace. Of course, in terms of availability and price we still have problems, but from a technological point of view 2020 it was an exceptional year, Nvidia launching an absolutely monstrous generation of graphics cards, in time that AMD have returned in force with equally monstrous boards.
Which is why I’ve spent the last 4 months testing and comparing video cards and I think I’ve tested enough so far. And yet, we didn’t do one thing this year, namely a test to see how the two current tops of the range compare in overclocking conditions.
Of course, as you well know, we haven’t checked this aspect for several generations, the overclocking potential being extremely limited, from our point of view, compared to what we could see a few years ago. That’s why we were curious how things are in the case of the two top of the range, RTX 3090 and RX 6900 XT, so that we used two ASUS implementations to test the potential for overclocking in terms of stability and we thought we’d tell you this story on Christmas day. After all, you may need a break from cabbage rolls and cakes…
