Hello and good to meet you, dear ones, for the last time in 2020. A year like no other before him, a year in which the world, as we know it, has changed. For better or worse, a year in which I traveled less and spent more time at home. A year in which we met less with friends and family members and in which we realized how important it is to be with them.
A year in which we had more work than ever, in which we tried to be with you and to offer you at least a small island of normalcy, in a great doubt, unknown and anguish. Because whatever happened this year, we tested more than ever, wrote more than ever, and gave you more articles than ever before.
Thus, this is the article with the number 115 published on LAB 501 in 2020, while on NEXT I published 89 of articles, for a total of 204 articles, in a year with 251 working days. I wrote 34 articles dedicated to video cards, 21 articles on cases and sources, 13 articles on coolers, AIOs and liquid cooling systems, 13 articles on SSDs and memories, 9 articles on processors, 9 articles in various categories, 8 articles about motherboards and 5 editorials.
On NEXT I told you mainly about notebooks (31 of articles), these being followed by peripherals (24 of articles), smartphones 22 (articles), various gadgets (8 articles), networking (2 articles) and tablets (one article). I also dedicated an editorial to CES in Las Vegas, from the times when I was still traveling for various events.
So we tried to keep you up to date with the most important releases, to offer you reading material every week, to focus more on technology and less on all the madness that surrounded us. Of course, not even our field has escaped madness, the lack of products in stock and the extraordinary prices bringing its flavor 2020 even in the IT sector.
However, we had many pleasant surprises this year, more powerful hardware than ever before, video cards, processors, notebooks and smartphones that have surpassed any record in terms of performance. And if I still mentioned this aspect, what else could we end the year with better than a review dedicated to the most powerful graphics card ever released, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, this time in the vision of GIGABYTE.
