You don’t like the TV cabinet more and a wall bracket you don’t like. You are looking for a more artistic way to give the TV a place in the living room. This universal TV booth from One For All looks like an interesting candidate.

The package in which the TV stand arrives is surprisingly compact. But of course some assembly is still required. Once the whole box is unpacked, the table is full of parts including two plastic bags with screws, bolts, nuts, spacers and so on.

Don’t panic, you don’t need them all. Most bolts are provided to fit the different VESA standards that a TV can use. The TV mode is compatible with the following VESA versions: 200 x 100, 200 x 200, 300X200, 300 x 300, 400 x 200, 400 x 300, 400X400. A clear installation manual is also included in the box.

Step 1: the stand Mounting the stand is simplicity itself. You screw the feet into the central bar, but be careful that you screw the shortest bar in the rear position. The legs are firmly attached. Then you need to screw the collar that will carry the TV to the required height.

This is done with two Allen screws, tighten them really well. This collar carries the full weight of the television, you don’t want it to slide.

Setting the correct height of the collar will require some experimentation and measurement. One For All recommends him between 5 and 25 cm from the top so that the center of the screen is approximately 110 cm above the ground hangs. The correct position depends of course on your TV.

Step 2: the TV brackets

Then you attach the TV brackets to the TV. It is best to lay it flat on a soft, large surface. The brackets themselves have a soft back so that you do not damage the back of the TV.

The first task is to find the right screws and combination of spacers. The latter are necessary, for example, if the back is slightly curved, or if the bracket would get in the way of cables. The chance that you cover connections is very small on large models, but not impossible with the smaller models. You can also solve that by using the necessary spacers to mount the bracket further from the back (you can create a distance of up to 4 cm).

If the brackets are on the TV, open the lower bracket and lower the upper bracket over the stand until it sits on the collar. rest (tip: do this with two people). Close the bottom bracket, put in the last screw and you’re done.

How is it? The mode is suitable for TVs with size between 32 and 65 inch. The maximum weight depends on the surface. On a regular surface you can go up to 32 kg, but on a smooth surface you should limit the weight to 32 kg. In that case, a number of 65 inch models will be dropped.

We hung a 55 inch OLED TV the score. The result looks very nice. The walnut wooden feet and the gunmetal stand stand out beautifully against the screen. If you prefer light colors, there is the WM 7471 with light oak feet and silver gray stand. The TV can be turned smoothly, the full 360 °. In practice, cables will make that more difficult, but 90 ° left and right is no problem.

Our first concern is of course stability. A tripod is a stable setup, but a 55 inch TV is a strong leverage and a lot of weight. Small nudges are no problem, but we don’t really see this setup in an environment with small children. And with a 65 inch we think caution is warranted.

One For All has thought of that and there is a steel cable and mounting hardware in the box to secure the TV to the wall. Of course you limit the set-up options.

Options and finish The stand comes with two brackets with which you can hang a soundbar on the TV. This can be done both above and below the TV. Due to their shape and design, they would fit almost all soundbar models, provided they naturally have screw holes for wall mounting.

Cable management is also provided, but that is very minimalistic. A leather flap at the top, and two supplied clips that you mount at the bottom of the back foot. That is enough to lead the cables away, but it is not neat. Mounting one of the clips higher on the leg is not an option, the clip is then open so far that it is useless.

The tripod is available in light brown and dark brown. Check k the entire range on the website.

Conclusion The One For All WM 7471 is an original and beautifully executed universal TV stand. It comes with all necessary screws and other small parts and is easy to assemble. A screwdriver and thirty minutes of patience is all you need. The TV rotates smoothly around the central axis and the setup is stable. Some caution is advised with the larger sizes (although you can solve that with the steel fuse cable) and the cable management could be a bit tighter.
