Tomahawk by ITD Custom Works

What do you say? Too many articles lately? Then what to do, dear monster, if the producers are diligent and launch new products at an unprecedented pace so far, we try to keep up with them and present the products to you as they arrive in the laboratory. This week, for example, I told you about AIO-type cooling systems, but especially about the monstrous AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, the top of the range that marks the return of those from AMD in the high-end segment. What could we publish after such a monster, without remaining completely in its shadow?

Well, we also asked ourselves this question, and the incident made that this week to receive at tests something really interesting, something conceived and assembled in Romania. Yes, I know, components are generally made in China, but we are talking about an ITD Custom Works system. What ITD Custom Works means, you may be wondering. Well, Custom Works I think is pretty simple to explain – we’re talking about custom-built systems that allow you to customize the configuration, customize the look, and even use a custom-assembled liquid-circuit cooling solution.

ITD means IT Direct, one of the first importers in Romania to pay more attention to enthusiasts, at a time when such a thing was inconceivable, more than good 16 years. Some of you know them thanks to the online store IT Direct, others you may have heard of them through the brands they distribute, including Seasonic, Corsair, GIGABYTE, Raijintek and Synology, just to name a few.

It is certain that more than a year ago, IT Direct launched the ITD Custom Works product range, which started from 4 systems, at the time of launch, reaching 12 systems at the moment. We are talking about balanced desktop systems, carefully assembled, which allow changing the configuration, customizing certain elements of the case, such as the window / side panel, or the use of advanced cooling solutions, custom loop.

I know, I know, most LAB readers 501 prefer to assemble their own desktop – after all, this is one of the great pleasures we have as enthusiasts in this field, and if we are talking about a custom build, so much the better. However, even among us there are enthusiasts who either do not have the necessary time to configure and assemble a system, or do not have the necessary knowledge for such an occupation, as a result they prefer to turn to experts. And if you fall into one of these categories and the brand systems available in stores are not appetizing enough for you, then ITD Custom Works systems may be exactly what you need.
