Introduction

Established in 2006, ROCCAT is a peripherals company based in Germany. More than a year after the original Burst Pro, the wireless Burst Pro Air has been released. Much like the Kone Pro Air before it, the Burst Pro Air comes with PixArt’s PAW3370 sensor, 2.4 GHz wireless, and promises up to 100 hrs battery life using Bluetooth, albeit without illumination. Speaking of which, the RGB lighting has been extended compared to the wired Burst Pro, and now features no less than four individual lighting zones. ROCCAT’s Titan optical switches rated for 100 million clicks are used for the main buttons, which promise the lowest possible click latency without risk of inadvertent double-clicking. Much like on the Kone Pro Air and Burst Pro, heat-treated pure PTFE feet are used to ensure the best possible glide out of the box. The usual customization options are present within ROCCAT Swarm. The Burst Pro Air is available either in black or white.
