ROCCAT Kone Pro Air Review
Source: Tech Power Up added 22nd Sep 2021Introduction
Established in 2006, ROCCAT is a peripherals company based in Germany. With the Kone Pro Air, ROCCAT introduces a new size option between the large Kone EMP and smaller Kone Pure Ultra. Much like the wired Kone Pro, the Kone Pro Air comes with PixArt’s PAW3370 capable of 19,000 CPI, ROCCAT optical switches for the main button, heat-treated pure PTFE feet, and a lightweight, yet solid-surface construction of just 73 g. The Kone Pro Air can be operated either in low-latency 2.4 GHz or high-endurance Bluetooth mode. With polling rate set to 1000 Hz and all illumination disabled, ROCCAT promises a battery life of more than 100 hours in 2.4 GHz mode. RGB lighting is also on board and can be configured within ROCCAT Swarm, which provides the usual customization options. Colorways include black and white, the latter of which is what I’ll be looking at for this review.
