The processors Ryzen 5000 are official and the overclockers have started testing them with liquid nitrogen cooling reaching remarkable goals. Undoubtedly the 6 stand out, 35 GHz reached by the Taiwanese TSAIK, exceeded by 6, 36 GHz by compatriot Hicookie , obtained respectively on MSI X motherboard 570 Godlike and Gigabyte X 570 Aorus Master with a processor a 16 core and 32 Ryzen 9 thread 5950 X fully active.
Overclocker Der8auer pushed his Ryzen 9 5950 X to 5, 85 GHz, again with liquid nitrogen cooling (reaching 14275 points in Cinebench R 20), while the Swede Elmor stopped at 6.1 GHz on a ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero.
For the other models there are currently no frequency records, except for Ryzen 5 5600 X which was pushed by the Indonesian LUCKY_N 00 B a 6, 12 GHz , always with all cores and threads active and liquid nitrogen cooling. To follow the progress of the tests of the main world overclockers, not only in terms of frequency but also of scores in the various benchmarks, we suggest you follow the pages of the various models on HWBot: Ryzen 9 5950 X, Ryzen 9 5900 X, Ryzen 7 5800 X and Ryzen 5 5600 X.
As for overclocking with level air coolers or good level liquid cooling solutions, looking at several reviews it seems that Ryzen chips 5000 are positioned according to the sample between 4.4 and 4.7 GHz with all cores and threads active, whether it is the 5600 X that of 5950 X : in short, even if the new Zen 3 CPUs do not need to overclock to impress, those who want to experiment should have a good margin to do so.
