Samsung is expanding its Odyssey gaming monitor series with the G5 and G3 models, which only started this year with the Odyssey G9 and G7. The G5 with 27 inches is already available on the market in a curved design, the larger versions with 32 inches and 34 inches as well as the G3 with flat panel in 24 inches and 27 Customs should follow in spring 2021.

The Odyssey G5 27 Inch has a WQHD resolution (2. 560 x 1. 440 p) and the AMD FreeSync technology, thanks to HDR 10 there should be high contrasts and rich colors with the appropriate material. The radius of curvature of the G5 is 1. 000 mm, so it is much stronger than we know from many devices. This is intended to further increase immersion. In addition, the G5 offers 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms.

The Odyssey G5 models that will follow in the coming year will be have a curved screen with 32 inches or 34 inches. With the 32 – inch model, Samsung uses QHD resolution (2. 560 x 1. 440 p) at a frame rate of 144 Hz. The 34 -Inch model, however, should have Ultra WQHD resolution (3. 440 x 1440 p) and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Both monitors also use the 21: 9 widescreen format.

The G3 offers full HD Panel without curvature in the sizes 24 inches and 27 inches, one LED Backlight and a height-adjustable stand. This model also features 144 Hz refresh rate, FreeSync technology from AMD and 1 ms (MPRT) response time.
