There’s been a recent surge in Bitcoin prices, reaching almost £30,000 last week. Sapphire could be looking to capitalise on this, as the company has just announced the new INCA EP-10 GPU Mining Solution, which can support up to 10 graphics cards.

Shipping with CudoOS mining software pre-installed, the INCA EP-10 is built on a 55W AMD EPYC Embedded 3251 processor and is designed to ‘enable cryptomining farms to deploy a plug-and-play mining solution with ease and scale.’ There’s a total of ten PCIe x16 slots, each running 8x PCIe 3.0 lanes, while four RDIMM slots provide up to 512GB memory. As a 4U rackmountable system, the INCA EP-10 measures 750 x 438 x 175 mm and uses two 1600W PSUs, while it’s possible to install two more for redundancy.

Sapphire’s Vice President of Global Marketing, Adrian Thompson, stated the company ‘chose to partner with Cudo for the levels of simplicity and stability that their mining software has achieved. Test users were very easily able to use the INCA EP-10 solution without any compromise on profit generation or performance. For us, we see this as industry disruptive.’

Cudo claims its software allows ‘miners to gain maximum efficiency and earnings from their hardware’, delivering reduce manual configuration and intervention ‘by up to 95%’. Coming pre-installed on the INCA EP-1O means mining farms only need to create a Cudo account, and link the INCA to that account before getting up and running.
