So far only ASUS and MSI showed the first custom designs of the Radeon RX – 6000 – series. Sapphire has now introduced the NITRO + models of the Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800 XT. There are some differences in the various models within the NITRO + series.

The Sapphire NITRO + Radeon RX 6800 uses three axial fans and has a total length of 310, 5 mm. The height with 134, 2 mm as well as the thickness with 2.7 slots are in the range of current high-end cards. Sapphire does not mention clock rates. With regard to the optics, however, some conclusions can be drawn. The three fans are framed in light gray towards the rear of the card. The PCB is probably not as long as the card’s cooler. On the GPU and the 16 GB of GDDR6 memory sits a massive base plate that is supported by some heat pipes. In the rear of the cooler, where the PCB ends, there are some openings in the backplate so that the rear fan can blow some air through the entire card.

Here are the two too Find additional power connections to power the card. Sapphire provides for the NITRO + Radeon RX 6800 RGB lighting on the front and a Sapphire logo on the backplate. The display outputs have 1x HDMI and 2x DisplayPort.

The information given above can be used for the Sapphire NITRO + Radeon RX 6800 XT. The differences here relate to the expansion stage of the Big Navi GPU. The Radeon RX offers 6800 16 Compute Units (3. 840 shader units), while the Radeon RX 6800 XT on 72 Compute Units (4. 608 shader units) is coming.

high-end model is the Sapphire NITRO + Radeon RX 6800 XT SE a. Only a few RGB-illuminated axial fans can be seen in the pictures. It is not known whether there are any other technical differences with regard to the clock. The card offers 1x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort and 1x USB-C at the display outputs. Only the SE variant can come up with the USB-C connection.

Sapphire PULSE

There is also again a PULSE series – both as Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800 XT. Precise technical details are also missing here. Sapphire gives the dimensions here with a length of 313 mm. It remains with a thickness of 2.7 slots.

When exactly and at what price the NIRTO + and PULSE cards will be available is not yet known.
