Sapphire RX 6800 (XT) NITRO + – Radeon photos and specifications
Source: Pure PC added 25th Nov 2020Soon, theoretically, there should be new proprietary Radeons from the RX series 6000, but the reality is not as rosy as announced. Although the mass of proprietary variants of these graphics cards will officially hit the market in a moment, their actual availability is to be very poor. However, it has to be admitted that some models look very good and we expect arts like the Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 (XT) NITRO + will be of great interest. Why these models? Their photos, detailed specifications, and what’s more, the cards have already been tested in FurMark, and the results can be seen below. There is something to wait for!
As the diagnostic programs show, the RX model 6800 XT NITRO + has 2045 MHz (Game Clock ) and 2285 MHz (Boost Clock), which means that the frequencies have been raised by 30 and 35 MHz compared to the reference version. Regular RX 6800 NITRO + has been cranked up more – its clocks are 1980 MHz (GC) and 2190 MHz (BC ).

AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT – record card overclocked to 2.8 GHz
Radeon RX 6800 XT NITRO + should not differ from the RX 6800 NITRO +. These are almost the same designs in terms of the cooling used. It is 2.7-slot, has 31 cm long, three fans, and a solid backplate on the bottom. A huge heat sink is hidden under the black and silver casing and for power supply you will need to plug in two 8-pin plugs. On the track we find three DisplayPorts and one HDMI connector. As shown by diagnostic programs, the RX model 6800 XT has timings 2045 MHz (Game Clock) and 2285 MHz (Boost Clock), which means that the frequencies have been raised by 30 and 35 MHz relative to the reference version. Regular RX 6800 NITRO + has been cranked up more – its clocks are 1980 MHz (GC) and 2190 MHz (BC ), so the 165 and 85 MHz versus standard variants.
Both units have been tested in FurMark, which, although not a recommended benchmark, is however, the temperature results may give us some picture of the work culture. Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT NITRO + has warmed up to 85 degrees Celsius, while RX 6800 NITRO + only up to 75 degrees. So we assume that in “normal” applications both models will not overheat. According to the source, in addition to the NITRO + models, the manufacturer also plans to release a special version of the system with ARGB backlight, but nothing is known about it yet.
