Scorn on new gameplay. Don't expect a release soon
Source: Pure PC added 22nd Oct 2020Scorn promises to be one of the most interesting new brands in the coming months. Inspired by the work of HR Giger, the creator of the character of Alien, and the Polish painter Zdzisław Beksiński, the game, which is being developed on the Unreal Engine 4 engine in the Serbian independent studio Ebb Software for several years, is taking on more and more distinct shapes. Gamespot has published a new, almost 14 – minute gameplay from the Xbox Series X version. Not counting the atmospheric trailer made available from on the occasion of the Xbox presentation in May 20 / 20, this is the first show of the game since… 2017 years. One might assume that the premiere of Scorn will take place soon, but unfortunately it will not happen.
The premiere of Scorn, an intriguing FPP horror film by independent Ebb Software studio, will take place only 2021. As a sweetness, we received a completely new gameplay, the first in three years.
Scorn for Xbox Series X – a game inspired by the work of HR Giger
Microsoft, which has partnered with Ebb Software, suggested in August this year, when it revealed the November release date for the next-gen console, Scorn could be the launch title Xbox Series X. All hopes for the premiere this year have unfortunately been brutally buried with the new gameplay, which brings the release date of the game, which, to our dissatisfaction, was only set for an unspecified period 2021 year.
SCORN on the Xbox Series X it will offer 4K resolution and 60 FPS
For consolation we got A comprehensive gameplay record that shows what Scorn will be and what to expect from it. The amazing artistic style of the visuals and no less intriguing designs of monsters and weapons are definitely striking. It will not be chaff like Doom – the creators focus on the slow pace of the game, which will not only rely on shooting, but also – or rather above all – on solving puzzles and discovering corners of the mysterious world. Scorn will debut not only on the Xbox Series X / S, but also on personal computers and both versions will support ray tracing. Moreover, the title will be available on Xbox Game Pass on both consoles and PC.
