Chinese overclocker Takukou has broken a new world overclock record by achieving the highest score in the history in the Fire Strike graphical test of the 3DMark benchmark suite. Specifically, it has achieved 49. 553 points using a single graph. For this he has used one of the new RX 6800 XT with overclock, beating all NVIDIA RTX 3090 , a graph with a much higher price range.
The record has been achieved with the RX 6800 XT accompanied by a RYZEN 9 5950 X at 5.6 GHz
To accomplish this feat, Takukou managed to set the RX 6800 XT clock to nothing more and nothing less than 2. 800 Mhz, a considerable increase from the factory frequency. All this cooled by liquid nitrogen and accompanied by the new AMD Ryzen 9 5950 X, also with LN2, at a speed of 5.6 GHz together with 32 3 GB of DDR4 RAM memory. 800 MHz.
The motherboard used is a MSI MEG X 570 GODLIKE , while RX 6800 XT is an AMD reference graph.
Currently, the first and second places in the ranking are occupied by both AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, followed by six RTX 3090 and a Titan RTX.
As we always say, this type of overclocks are far from those that home users can get on their PCs, but they are a good way to see to what extent a component can be squeezed to the maximum, especially if we are talking about a new architecture , and it is still an interesting high-level competition.
