SilverStone LD03-AF Review – Improving on the Original

Source: The Verge added 15th Oct 2020

Introduction

I would like to thank Silverstone for supplying the review sample.

The SilverStone Lucid LD03-AF represents the same stylish option for a compact yet capable ITX system as the original LD03. With its elaborate design and three glass panels, you are meant to show it off. Even so, the LD03-AF we are reviewing also provides quite the specifications for large air cooling and long GPUs in a 25 liter chassis, which could make it an interesting choice for gamers as well, especially as the AF variant improves on GPU cooling, additional thermal performance, and updated connectivity with an overall lower price point for US buyers than the original. It seems SilverStone fixed a lot of things on their second pass around about a year after we reviewed the original LD03, so let’s dive right in!
