Introduction

Skyloong is a keyboard manufacturer and OEM/ODM brand based out of China with over 10 years of experience. Indeed, this is the brand that has put out most of the small form factor layout keyboards and cases that were then re-branded by others, especially for the Western markets, until the company decided to market itself finally. Indeed, if you look through our review database, a good amount of Epomaker-branded keyboards were all made by SKYLOONG. We’ve since covered the SKYLOONG GK 75 Triple Mode and the GK61 Pro, and today we flip things and go full-size with the brand new GK104 Pro.

SKYLOONG has decided to throw everything, including the kitchen sink, into the GK104 Pro. The one exception would be the absence of a metal chassis option, but otherwise this keyboard has so many things going on that I really don’t know where to begin! You can get the GK104 Pro with one or two screens, but really why would you not get the full-fledged one for slightly more? This is the only keyboard in my possession that has a large enough screen to where integrated displays on keyboards finally seem more useful than just being a gimmick. The other screen, above the number pad, also helps use it as a standalone calculator with the flip of a switch. There is also a built-in speaker in the keyboard to call out various functions, and we also see some knobs as well as a split space bar here which can all be customized too. Expect to also see hybrid wireless connectivity, different color schemes and switches, hot-swap switch sockets, two different software programs and extensive onboard customization too.
