Subaru prepares to remove the veils from his first Electric SUV . The vehicle will be based on the e-TNGA platform , developed in conjunction with Toyota and dedicated specifically to electric vehicles. It is a modular architecture, on the basis of which various types of electric vehicles can be built, with different characteristics in terms of size and propulsion.

Subaru showed an electric vehicle concept at an event in Japan last year identified with the name of Subaru Evoltis . With sharp and sharp lines, that concept was reminiscent of the famous Tesla Cybertruck and the design of the new electric SUV could just take a cue from this concept.

Subaru wants to electrify at least the 40% of its vehicle fleet by 2030, while after this date all brand vehicles should include an electric propulsion component . Up to now there are three vehicles Mild Hybrid in its list: Impreza e-BOXER, the XV e-BOXER and Forester e-BOXER . The new SUV, on the other hand, will be fully electric , also to reduce the emissions share of the brand’s vehicles and avoid any sanctions.
