Microsoft’s Android keyboard, SwiftKey , has been updated to add support for its own Surface Duo, a dual-screen smartphone that, unsurprisingly, requires several software considerations to the time for to have as fluid an experience as possible , in the same way that happened with the folding terminals.
In this case, we find support for both screens, so that we can separate the keyboard in half to be able to use both hands of one more optimal way to type faster with the Microsoft keyboard , avoiding that the keyboard takes a layout like the one we would use with any other terminal with the screen horizontally.
Unfortune unfortunately, for now this functionality only works when we put the application in which we want to write so that it occupies the two terminal screens , so this is something that Microsoft should fix to get a consistent experience across all applications and layouts thereof.
This functionality is already available in both beta and stable versions of Swiftkey , so users of this tablet can now download or upgrade the keyboard to get this typing function.
