Introduction

Team Group is a well-known Taiwanese hardware manufacturer with a long history of catering to the needs of enthusiasts and gamers from all over the globe. Their lineup includes DRAM memory and solid-state drives, and Team Group also offer various memory cards and USB thumb drives.

In today’s review, we focus on the Team Group A440 Lite solid-state drive. This SSD supports PCIe Gen 4 and incorporates the modern Phison E27T controller. Previously, we reviewed the Corsair MP600 Elite, which also features the E27. The drive’s M.2 2280 form factor ensures compatibility with current computers and laptops. It uses Toshiba’s 162-layer 3D TLC NAND flash technology. The absence of a DRAM cache chip helps maintain an affordable price.

The Team Group A440 Lite is available in capacities of 512 GB (unknown), 1 TB ($70) and 2 TB ($120). Endurance for these models is set to 300 TBW, 600 TBW and 1200 TBW, respectively. Team Group offers a five-year warranty with the A440 Lite.
