Teams too complicated? Microsoft helps with video training

Microsoft is providing a new series of video training courses for its Teams collaboration platform. They are aimed at users who should learn the basics with them in particular: How to install teams and set up teams according to the preferences of their colleagues, but also how to use chat and exchange files.

In the announcement of the new videos, Microsoft particularly emphasizes the security aspect, because primarily the “activities or inactivity” of the users would make attackers dangerous. However, the training courses focus on general information and best practices, such as how to mute individual users in a teams conference or how to assign roles.

For administrators Microsoft also offers a security manual for teams that also covers topics such as AppLocker application guidelines and controlling access to SharePoint. The videos for users are available free of charge. Computer-generated language was used for the German dubbing, while the teams interface used in the presentation is in English.
