Teamviewer has released an update of its enterprise platform Tensor, with which the so-called co-browsing is introduced. A support employee should be able to support customers directly in the browser. The active tab is shared with support, personal data should be automatically made unrecognizable.

Teamviewer only needs to be integrated into the website by the provider the visitor does not have to install anything. Passwords and other personal data are not transmitted, but are made unrecognizable with asterisks. The entire function should be GDPR-compliant, says Alexander Post, Director Product Management at Teamviewer. The other browser tabs are not transferred either, co-browsing only affects the tab in which it is activated.

This enables companies to support their customers in the shopping process, for example, when the possibilities of a chatbot are exhausted explains Teamviewer. The employee can see a configuration form on the customer’s website and advise them on what to enter.

Additional functions for business customers Additionally Teamviewer implemented a multi-client capability.
