At the beginning 2021 of this year, Elon Musk will extend the electric capabilities of Tesla, which he owns. Vehicle users will be able to purchase a special autopilot package called “full self-driving” in the form of a subscription. As you can guess, people who decide on the service will receive functions that make Tesla cars almost autonomous. Of course, there is not much to be fully independent, but the list of autopilot capabilities is impressive, and what is important – soon the available tools will also work outside highways. Who knows, maybe we will also see new features .. So let’s look at the real possibilities of a solution for which you have to pay dearly.

At the beginning of next year, Tesla will release the full self-autopilot package driving as a subscription. This means that you can spread the cost of purchasing the tool over many months.

Tesla already in Poland: Warsaw showroom and prices in PLN

Autopilot in the basic form, which is available in Elon Musk’s vehicles, does not allow too much. In fact, users can count mainly on the active cruise control, which ensures the distance between cars moving on the road. The price 39 thousand PLN, however, you can get a full autopilot. Full self-driving, as this is the name of the paid package, allows you to park, change lanes, recognize a stop sign and detect traffic lights. This is a lot, but it would be unfair to call it autonomous. There is currently no fully self-contained car on the road.

The full self-driving function will be available on a subscription basis. I assume there will be some kind of monthly, quarterly or annual subscriptions. Such a model of autopilot distribution will allow more people to use it. It is also an opportunity to try out new products without incurring huge costs. After all, for 39 thousand PLN, we can already buy a completely “fresh” car with a reasonable mileage. You will most likely be able to opt out of the package at any time, but these are only assumptions. Perhaps Elon Musk will decide to introduce periodic commitments.
