Gigabyte’s Waterforce line consists of several models of graphics cards whose common feature is the use of liquid cooling to dissipate the GPU heat. There are Hybrid models, with their own radiator and pump system, and others that simply come with a liquid cooling block to couple to custom systems previously mounted on the PC. To that last group belongs the new Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC Waterforce WB that have been revealed in videocardz.
The Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC Waterforce WB reaches 1. 800 MHz of serial overclock
This model has a complete water block equipped with a transparent central panel and ARGB lighting integrated into its metal casing. In total, with the block mounted, we have a double slot card thickness. In addition, the mentioned block is made of nickel-plated copper.
Taking food from two 8-pin PCIe connectors, this card operates at 1. 800 MHz, with a small overclock compared to the reference model with 1. 710 MHz. However Taking into account this type of cooling, the speeds that can be achieved with manual overclocking may be higher.
The ARGB lighting system can be managed from Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion software. Regarding video outputs, the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC Waterforce WB offers three DisplayPort and two HDMI outputs. Its price has not been disclosed, and seeing the RTX stock problems 30, we may not see it in stores for a while.
