A mini computer released in China at the end of last year manages to run, for example, Cyberpunk 2077 with low settings of about 30 FPS performance

Aya Neo is a handheld console minicomputer released in China last year. The computer first became available only in China, but the company already announced at that time that it was considering a separate crowdfunding campaign for global release. The company has now announced that Aya Neo will be available worldwide through IndieGoGo, which begins in early February.

Inside the handheld console format, AMD’s 6-core Ryzen 5 4500 U pulsates with the Vega graphics controller of the 6 Compute Units alongside the Zen 2 processor cores. The APU circuit is supported by GB LPDDR4X – 4266 – memory and 512 GB of storage (SN 550 PCIe NVMe).

The Aya Neon 7-inch screen supports 1280 × 800 resolution and its panel is implemented with IPS technology. The computer’s I / O offering includes three USB Type-C connectors and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and wireless connections are available in the form of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 standards. Of course, the computer also has stereo speakers for sound reproduction, and you can play with the controls on the sides of the screen (2x analog thumb stick, D-PAD, other button)

In terms of performance, Aya Neon has been shown to be able to run Resident Evil 3 in the past at about 47 FPS screen refresh rate. A more recent video shot in December shows that the handheld will run Cyberpunk 2077 at Low settings around 30 FPS performance. Other game tests are also available on the company’s YouTube channel.

Computer battery capacity is reported 12 255 mAh or watt hours and it supports 65 watts quick charge. The strategic dimensions of the entire minicomputer are 300 x 106 x 20 millimeters and 650 grams

The final price of Aya Neon has not yet been revealed, but the so-called The Early Bird price for first subscribers is multiplied by 699 dollars. Worldwide shipments of handheld consoles are scheduled to begin in April.
