From 17 On December, Epic Games Store launched its holiday sale, where you can buy games with an additional, endless 40 PLN with a coupon and an action with daily free titles. In the first two days, Cities: Skylines, an economic city builder strategy modeled on the popular SimCity series, and Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee New ‘n’ Tasty, a remake of the classic platformer from 1997 of the year with the title creature. On the third day, Epic Games Store has prepared a game for fans of all kinds of survival. We are talking about The Long Dark, a production created by former developers of BioWare (Mass Effect, Dragon Age), Volition (Saints Row) or Relic Entertainment (Warhammer 40, 00 0: Dawn of War, Company of Heroes). A likely list of more free games has also hit the network.

To 20 December until 17: 00 Polish time you can get The Long Dark for free, a decently rated survival FPP. In addition, a list of other free ones on the Epic Games Store has leaked, including, among others Alien: Isolation, Night in the Woods and Jurassic World Evolution.

The Long Dark is released on 2007 by an independent studio Hinterland survival in the FPP convention, in which we play the role of the pilot William Mackenzie, trying to survive in difficult conditions in a winter desert, where all electronic devices were deactivated by a geomagnetic storm. The game garnered decent marks – the PC version handed out by Epic Games Store has an average rating of 77% (according to Metacritic). You can pick it up at Tim Sweeney’s store only at 20 December to 17: 00 Polish time.

The Long Dark will likely be replaced by Defense Grid: The Awakening from 2008 year. The list of games that may appear on the remaining days of the campaign prepared by the Epic Games Store has leaked to the network. Until 31 December we will get 12 free titles, including the aforementioned. From 21 on December, free games such as Alien: Isolation, Metro 2033 Redux (replay) or Night in the Woods are to be available (we recommend it!) – the full list is provided below, along with the dates. So far, all leaked games have proved successful. We also remind you that until January 7th 17: 00 there is an Epic Games Store sale, where you can buy cheaper, among others Cyberpunk 2077 (159 PLN), Mafia: Definitive Edition (86, 75 PLN), Disco Elysium (43, 40 PLN), Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 (81, 50 PLN), Metro Exodus Gold (79 , 10 PLN), Control Ultimate Edition (377 , 40 PLN) or Borderlands 3 (45, 79 PLN).
