The Raspberry Pi is perhaps the best known of the credit card size minicomputers. The company has now expanded its range from motherboards and enclosures to full-scale assembly

. The Raspberry Pi 400 is the company’s first official full computer. The term may seem misleading at first, as the configuration looks like a compact keyboard on the outside. However, all the necessary components are embedded inside it.

At the heart of the new Raspberry is a faster-tuned version of the Raspberry Pi 4. Broadcom’s BCM 2711 system circuit (4x Cortex-A 72) now operates at a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz, while in Pi 4 the clock frequency was 1 .5 GHz. The system circuit is supported by 4 GB LPDDR4 – 3200 memory and a microSD card slot for storage space.

The computer also has support for IEEE 802. 11 b / g / n / ac for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and gigabit network connection. There are two USB 3.0 connectors and one USB 2.0 connector. The computer also comes with a 40 GPIO pin array, two micro-HDMI connectors, and a 5-volt DC connector.

Unfortunately, at least so far no version of Raspeberry Pi 400 has been presented with a Nordic keyboard layout. The German model with QWERTZ keyboards is the closest to this layout.

The computer comes on sale both as such and as a ready-made kit with a mouse, 16 GB microSD card with pre-installed Raspberry Pi OS and micro-HDMI – With an HDMI cable. The recommended price for a computer-only computer is 70 and $ 100 dollars. German versions are priced at local stores 68, 59 and 97, 89 in euros
