Although we are all in favor of the speed advantages of a unit SSD in any computer system, it is more than obvious that the prices in which these units are moved are not cheap, reason why Microsoft has equipped the Xbox Series S with a 512 GB drive in contrast to the 1TB drive we found on the Xbox Series X. Recall that the Xbox Series S will hit the market on 10 November.
However, added to this smaller drive size, it appears that the space that is lost in drive changes, as well as the space occupied by the system operating console and associated applications, seem to leave the console with only 364 GB of free disk space as mentioned by a new S Series owner on Reddit, something that can be a problem on certain occasions.
As we can read in Hexus, after install Witcher 3 (41 GB), Halo 5 (97 GB) and Outer Worlds (52 GB) the console would be left with 174 GB of free space on the drive SSD , something that could be wasted by large game releases, so that with just a launch of sufficient size it could leave us without disk space.
On the other hand, it should be noted that, if we buy the Seagate SSD for the Xbox separately, we are left with a more expensive set than the Xbox Series X , so in that regard it would almost be worth acquiring the older sister.
