As we can read in Digitimes, TSMC seems to be quite sure of the progress of its 3-nanometer processor manufacturing node , which is why the company is preparing to start, this year, the production at risk of this latest generation node.

A general features, risk production implies that TSMC will simply manufacture the chips that the client company requests, without executing specific tests to ensure proper operation of the new wafers just manufactured with the new node.

Thanks to this, it is expected in the same way that the serial production of the new 3 nanometer processors will reach the first half of 2022 , where you will already have more data on what is the operation and calibration of the new chips based on the process of 3 nanometers, thinner than we can find today in any other silicon foundry.

Processors manufactured with a 3 nanometer node will be able to see how is a process that allows even smaller chips, with lower consumption and greater efficiency than the models that we can find today.
