Games like Rainbow Six Siege, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and the newer Hyper Scape are supported from a single platform: Uplay . In addition to functioning as a client for PC, Ubisoft’s service allows its users to participate in exclusive initiatives and unlock new rewards.

A real loyalty program, in short, that will be extended and improved with Ubisoft Connect . The platform will be launched next 29 October , in conjunction with Watch Dogs: Legion .

Ubisoft Connect is coming: the advantages of the new service

As we read from the official website of the French producer, Ubisoft Connect “is the ecosystem of player services for all Ubisoft games across all platforms. It is the merging and enhancement of Ubisoft Club, our loyalty program, and Uplay, our desktop app, across all platforms. The goal is to offer all players the best environment to enjoy the games and keep in touch with each other, on any device “ .

The official announcement of the new service comes with a presentation trailer , which invites players to download the free Ubisoft Connect app on iOS or Android.

Ubisoft Connect inherits most of the features introduced in Uplay and Ubisoft Club, with some very useful additions. Among the most important innovations we find the cross-platform and features cross-progression , which will allow us to share our progress with the different platforms used: for example, after starting a game of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PS5 we will be able to continue it on PC, where we will find all previously unlocked content.

At launch, the cross-progression system will be compatible with the following games: Hyper Scape , Assassin’s Creed Valhalla , Immortals Fenyx Rising and Riders Republic .

Regarding the loyalty program, all Ubisoft games will be supported to offer special rewards to users. Among the official FAQs on the site we read: “In the games in our catalog you will be able to access the Ubisoft Connect services (statistics, ranking, custom report, when applicable), but the challenge system is inactive. As a result, we have decided to offer you all the rewards available on these games: you now have more than 1. 00 0 free rewards to use! “.

All services offered by Ubisoft Connect they will be integrated into a single interface for console and PC. Here we will be able to view the progress made and the so-called Units , the ‘loyalty points’ that can be used to unlock the aforementioned rewards within the games in our library.
