Patriot announced a new line of memories DDR4 , le Viper Steel RGB . This is a purely aesthetic evolution of the Viper Steel, as the novelty is represented by the addition of RGB lighting . The US company therefore aims at all enthusiasts who, in addition to performance, are looking for modules that can match the other components with RGB LEDs present in the system.

The Viper Steel RGB line includes single modules of 8, 16 or 32 GB and memory kit with capacity up to 64 GB (2x 32 GB). As far as frequencies are concerned, the modules do not push themselves too high and stop at 3200 and 3600 MHz . Patriot ensures that it has optimized its memories for the latest platforms from Intel and AMD, and on the cooling front it recalls the presence of the aluminum heat sink “coated with a pearl black paint and a scratch-resistant finish”.

The light bar incorporated in the upper part of the heatsink is characterized by five RGB zones that can be controlled by the software Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync and ASRock Polychrome Sync RGB of the main motherboards on the market. The company has not disclosed the prices of these modules, but the availability is almost immediate, at least in the United States.
