Volkswagen recalls 38,000 new cars because of a poorly welded brake pedal

It’s about worldwide 38. 100 and nationwide just under 17. 600 copies of VW Golf (test), VW Tiguan (test), Touran and VW T-Roc (test) the now expiring model year 2020. So far, however, no damage or accidents are known, said a company spokesman on Wednesday (16. Dec. 2020) on request.
During internal controls it was noticed that the pedal plate on which the foot of the Driver when braking, can deform or even peel off under certain circumstances. Automatic cars and left-hand drive vehicles are affected.
