Life in a global village is characterized by the fact that less developed (economically, economically) countries take over the lifestyle, motives and even customs of the dominant cultures over time. This was the case with the (partly) American holiday known as Halloween. One may reluctantly relate to this masquerade taking place exactly of October, but in Poland this custom, most likely rooted in the Celts, managed to ” enter the salons “and at the fullest. Halloween discos, Halloween movie marathons in cinemas or other ghost, demon, zombie and vampire parties will stay with us for longer (as soon as the virus finally goes on a well-deserved vacation …). That’s why the PurePC editorial team came up with the idea of creating our own list of scary movies worth watching in the coming days. As you will notice, this list is more about younger productions than the classics. There is a greater chance that you have not watched “The Nun” than even “The Shining”.

Two years ago for a cinematic Halloween horror marathon. It was my first and last time. Not because I was so scared but because I wished I had brought a pillow and quilt with me. It was not the first time that I realized that there are hardly any good horror movies today. It sounded like the words of a song, but if it didn’t, admit I’m a bit right. Well, from time to time we will get a revelation, but it seems that productions such as The Ring, Nightmare on Elm Street, Omen (original) or The Shining, so a kind of horror classic are images today that cannot be matched. The scare now comes down to hectoliters of blood, boring “jumpscare”, or putting a group of idle teenagers in the woods / motel / house of your late grandmother and waiting for us to pee in our panties for every squeak of the floor.

PurePC is pleased to invite you to a list of interesting horror films, which are worth reading (or refreshing yourself) on a Halloween evening. Title order – random.

Best science fiction movies available on VOD services

Therefore, each title that appears in this article, due to the fact that it presents relatively young cinema (or at least not classics) , had to undergo some selection. Namely, to get on our list, every movie:

  • Couldn’t be goofy (a la girl running through the whole movie with an ax in his head);
  • Must have had actors, for at least medium high A , not extras from Diaries from Vacation who are able to generate only two to three grimaces with their facial expressions;
  • It had to have a climate, that is, to an acceptable degree to scare.

I hope you will be satisfied You have such a selection, and above all, that we will meet it. However, you have to remember that everyone has their own taste, which is why the following subpages will contain images with as varied topics as possible, i.e. ghosts, possessions and … Okay, it seems that mainly ghosts and possession . And no, sorry – there will also be a few screen degenerates.

Best films in the history of cinema. It is worth returning to these most often

For the article to be as valuable as possible (it will also be funny, so that you are not so afraid;)), and not just a reprint of the distributors’ descriptions, after selecting the most interesting titles by the editorial office, I organized myself 20 evenings with horror films in order to find the (in my opinion) best ones. So as you can see, I was risking my health (and maybe even my life) for you, so be understanding;). The sessions (not yet spiritistic, although electrocuted water would allow me to go through this process more easily), took place with the use of headphones and with full concentration. So you can be sure that I have selected the really scary movies, not the goofy ones. Writing on the side, after the screening, each day I played an episode of South Park, to de-stress before bed (although in the end I dreamed not Cartman, but Freddy Krueger).
