It had already happened with the exclusion of the 3.5mm jack a few years ago and now, Samsung and Xiaomi, make fun of Apple for removing the charger from the sales package. Yet both companies then removed the 3.5mm jack as well. Will it happen for chargers too?

Apple iPhone Xiaomi Samsung
It happened when Apple first decided to remove the 3.5mm jack from their iPhones. A move that caused quite a stir but had very specific reasons: to maximize the space on the new iPhones increasingly full of hardware but also the advent of wireless headphones which then became a must for almost everyone. Now we return to talk about the decision by Apple to remove from the package selling the charger and earphones. Users will find in the box with the new iPhones 12 but also iPhone 11, Xr and SE only the charging cable and the smartphone. This immediately aroused the hilarity of rivals such as Samsung and Xiaomi who wasted no time in mocking and making fun of Apple on social media for this choice.
Samsung and Xiaomi: the “ trolled ” against Apple
Let’s go from Samsung Latinoamerica comes the first ” trolled ” against Apple with a post published on the company’s official Facebook profile. In this case there is the photo of Samsung’s charger with a caption that does nothing but refer to Apple’s choice “ Included with your Galaxy ”. On top of that, the post description reads: “ your Galaxy provides what you need. From the most basic aspects such as the charger , up to the best cameras, performance , memories and even panels 120 Hz “.
And it’s no less Xiaomi who decides to publish a video on their Twitter profile showing the unboxing of the Xiaomi Mi 10 T Pro but above all pette in evidence the packaging and the presence of the included charger. Not only because the post is accompanied by a phrase that does not leave too much room for the imagination: ” Don’t worry, don’t we left nothing out of the box of Mi 10 T Pro ”.
In short, it seems that the concern for competitors is that of Apple’s choice to remove chargers from the sales package. The choice of the Cupertino company comes according to the desire to weigh less on the environment and reduce, as far as possible, the use of plastic and other materials that are putting the environment in crisis.
The huge spread of these accessories, as well as practically everyone’s switch to wireless headphones, only justifies the choice of Tim Cook’s company. All valid reasons that are not necessarily followed by other competing companies that in recent years have increasingly created smartphones that also rotate for that quick recharge that requires proprietary and non-universal chargers. Who knows but that in a few months, as done for the 3.5mm jack, also Samsung and Xiaomi do not decide to remove the power supply from the sales packages? Posterity will judge.
