XPG offers multiple DDR5 products, with the current three main consumer system memory lines being Caster, Lancer, and Hunter. Lastly is the XPG Caster performance and PC enthusiast oriented system memory series, with the lowest frequency kit currently offered starting at 6000 MT/s and also featuring a blisteringly fast 8000 MT/s kit showcased during CES 2023.

In this review, we will be taking a closer look at the XPG Lancer RGB DDR5-7200 – Limited MERA Edition memory kit targeting Anime fans and PC enthusiasts. XPG has created an open-ended story for the hero Mera, who is battling a unknown force that has taken her sister and threatens to remove the color red from her world and every planet it touches. While this is a limited edition, the memory itself, beyond the aesthetics, is the same XPG Lancer memory underneath. Memory kit configurations for XPG Lancer RGB series include 32 GB (2x 16 GB) and 64 GB (2x 32 GB) with binned frequencies ranging from 5200 MT/s to 7200 MT/s. Using modest timings of 34-46-46-116 at 1.40 V for its 7200 XMP profile, this memory kit reviewed today isn’t compatible with all Intel systems, but is still in high demand.
