Introduction
Thank you to XPG for supplying the review sample.
XPG, which stands for Xtreme Performance Gear, have made quite a name for themselves over the years since they were created as a sub brand in 2008 by ADATA. From that point XPG continued to rapidly expand, eventually became a separate business unit. From then on the company’s push into the PC enthusiast space began to accelerate leading us to today where XPG is a recognized enthusiast brand with a large product portfolio including memory, SSDs, cases, power supplies, liquid coolers, fans, keyboards, mice, headsets, and even laptops. What was once an up-and-coming brand is now a force to be reckoned with in the DIY PC space.
In today’s review, I take a look at the XPG LEVANTE II 360 all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. On the surface it looks like any other 360 mm offering with the added bonus of being all in on the ARGB lighting with infinity mirror designs on the side of the unified fans and pump block. So visually speaking it’s a striking design, but it is not all about looks either as the pump features a dual chamber design and the 360 x 120 fan assembly essentially removes any gaps, so airflow is forced through the radiator with less blowback. The new fan design also keeps things clean while mitigating the typical mess of wires associated with ARGB equipped coolers. That said, I am intrigued by these quality of life inclusions, however, performance needs to be up to par as well so let’s get to it and see what the LEVANTE II 360 has to offer!
