Introduction

Zaopin is a peripherals company based in China. Following the Z1, the Z2 is the first right-handed ergonomic design from Zaopin. Equipped with PixArt’s PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI, the Z2 comes with both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. By default, the main buttons of the Z2 are outfitted with TTC Gold switches, but due to hot-swap sockets being present, any 3-pin mechanical switches can be swapped in, though doing so will require opening the mouse. Weighing 66 g, the Z2 does without holes or an open-bottom design, and the feet are made of pure PTFE. Whereas the 1K version is limited to 1000 Hz (USB full-speed), the 4K version does up to 4000 Hz (USB high-speed), and configuration options are present within software. The Z2 is available in white (either with a black or gray bottom), black, gray, red, or orange.
