When we ended the Enermax Liqmax-III series 2019 in a double test, we were only able to do that 360 – test mm model with addressable RGB lighting. The 240 – mm model was only available with simple RGB lighting. But now Enermax is stepping up and taking care of the Liqmax III 140 ARGB for rainbow effects also on 240 – mm radiator.
The A-RGB-LEDs illuminate both 115 – mm fan as well as the so-called “Aurabelt water block”, i.e. the pump cover. Enermax provides for lighting control via a compatible mainboard with a 4-pin, addressable RGB connection (5V / Data / – / GND). The two PWM fans work with 360 to 1. 600 RPM. The pump works with 3. 100 RPM. The AiO cooling is suitable for the AMD sockets FM1, FM2 (+), AM2 (+), AM3 (+) and AM4 as well as for the Intel sockets LGA 1200, LGA 100 x, 1366, 2011 (- 3) Square ILM and 2066. While the 360 – mm model according to Enermax for a theoretical TDP of up to 360 W should be suitable, is used for the Liqmax III 240 ARGB a maximum TDP of 250 W specified.
Enermax names for the Liqmax III 240 ARGB an RRP of 075, 90 Euro – and with it one Price for one 240 – mm-AiO cooling with such lighting is quite favorable. In the price comparison, the AiO cooling is currently from 48, 36 Euro listed, but not yet available.
NZXT introduced placing a small LCD panel on an AIO CPU cooler to the market, and people seem to be taking well to it. We also started seeing GPUs with small screens on them, but now, it appears the real winner of this popularity contest will be Asus.
Asus recently showed off a CPU cooler with such a big screen (spotted by @momomo_us), it kind of had us scratching our heads. I mean, just look at the thing… why does a CPU block need a 3.5-inch LCD panel on it?
Cool factor aside, the unit is called the ROG Ryunjin II 240, and it comes in as a successor to the original ROG Ryunjin 240, which had similar styling and a large CPU block, but a much smaller OLED screen.
Chances are this unit will also be based on an Asetek design, and it looks like Asus decided to stick to using Noctua fans on the Ryunjin II, equipping the AIO with two black 120mm Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC fans.
Not a Lot of Information…
The exact specs are unknown at this time, so we can’t comment on which exact fan models they are (for RPM), nor the resolution of the screen, or pump type and speeds. We also don’t have any other pictures, but I think we can all imagine quite well what this will look like in a system.
All we know is that this joyfully ridiculous monstrosity is coming, and in all honestly, I’m looking forward to it.
The Slovenian EK Water Blocks expands its range of all-in-one liquid coolers with two models of the EK-AIO Basic line from 240 and 360 mm. Also unveiled EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB, golden version of the EK-AIO Elite.
by Manolo De Agostini published 20 January 2021 , at 17: 01 in the Peripherals channel EK Water Blocks
EK Water Blocks announced expansion of the range of AIO liquid cooling systems with the new products EK-AIO Basic and EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB . According to the Slovenian designer, the EK-AIO Basic products represent a competitive offer from a price point of view and above all they expand the offer with a totally black “ product, without RGB “.
There are two EK-AIO Basic, with radiator from 240 or 360 millimeters , compatible with the latest series of Intel and AMD CPUs . Featuring a minimalist look, they have a black pump cover with a brushed aluminum finish and black fans. The absence of RGB LEDs aims to satisfy those who want a PC that does not look like a nightclub, but it also helps to keep costs down. The 240 mm model costs 89, 90 €, while the version with a larger radiator rises to 119, 90 €. Both can be booked on the shop on the manufacturer’s website.
Along with this new range, EK has also introduced the new EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB , one golden variant of the EK-AIO Elite . As the name suggests, this model is accompanied by a 360 mm radiator with three Vardar fans per side . Along with the heatsink there is also EK-Hub, which helps with cable management, offering the ability to connect up to seven RGB and PWM fans. The price of the EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB is 229, 90 €, and can be booked immediately.
Floe RC 360 and RC are already in the regular variants very exotic AiO cooling that cools both the processor and the RAM. Floe RC Ultra 240 and 360 are now even more unusual. Because Thermaltake also integrates two displays on the pump cover and on the RAM.
The A-RGB lighting of the standard versions is no longer available, but Thermaltake is likely to be the first manufacturer with two displays on AiO cooling. The company’s own Toughliquid Ultra models with a display on the pump cover are also put in the shade. The LCD on the pump cover measures 2.1 inches in diameter, the LCD on the RAM cooler has a diagonal of 3.9 inches. Users should be able to set up the screen content individually.
In addition to displaying system data such as temperatures, you can also display your own JPG and GIF files. The TT-RGB-Plus-2.0 software can be used to monitor the AiO cooling on the regular screen. The fans can also be controlled via it.
Instead of the A-RGB fans of the standard models, Thermaltake uses the new Toughfan for the Floe-RC-Ultra models 12 Turbo PWM. These 120 – mm fans work PWM-controlled with 500 up to 2. 500 RPM, so cover a wide range of Dreg number. The Floe-RC-Ultra-AIO models should be easy to install despite the RAM cooler. Current AMD and Intel sockets will be supported. In order to be able to use the RAM cooler, suitable Thermaltake TOUGHRAM-RC memory modules are required. Thermaltake offers 2x 8GB kits with 3. 200, 3. 600, 4. 000 and 4. 400 MHz.
Thermaltake has not yet given any information about the prices of the two Floe-RC-Ultra-AiO cooling systems. The prices for the TOUGHRAM-RC memory kits start in the Thermaltake shop at 94, 99 Euro for DDR4 3200 MHz 16 GB and extend up to 154, 94 Euro for DDR4 4400 MHz 16 GB. In the price comparison there are these kits a little cheaper, the price for the DDR4 – 3200 MHz – 16 GB kit is around 83 euros.

The white AIO coolers in the iCue Elite Capellix series bring a bright RGB-lit pump unit in addition to white.
Corsair has released a white version of its Elite Capellix chiller range. Coolers are available 240 (H 100 i) and 360 Capillix LEDs with a size of (H 150 i) and perhaps their most characteristic feature is. The black version of the cooler has been released before, but in addition to the color alone, the white model renews the look of the pump unit by being bright on the surface and RGB-lit throughout.
H 150 i The Elite Capellix collection previously used Corsair K for its RGB lighting. – on the keyboard and some of the Capellix LEDs familiar from the manufacturer’s mice. Capellix LEDs differ from standard Surface Mount LEDs in a much smaller size, and according to Corsair they are even 60% brighter, 60% more energy efficient and 35% longer life
Already in the original black H 150 i Elite Capellix, the manufacturer used these LEDs to illuminate the pump unit, but in the white model the lighting has been further emphasized. Instead of a black backplate, the pump unit is translucent and instead of subdued light streaks, the entire unit cover glows in RGB tones. However, the translucent cover of the pump unit in the advertising images must be installed by the user, as the unit has a more subdued glossy white cover pre-installed.
With the exception of the white color and redesigned pump unit cover, the white Elite Capellix rollers resemble their previously released dark predecessors. However, the black model 280 mm radiator has been discontinued and white is only available for 240 mm or 360 in mm versions. The cooler comes with white 120 ML RGB series fans based on Corsar magnetic spreading. For other features, the Corsair advertises the cooler pump to be quiet and should provide 0, l / min flow below 20 at the sound pressure level of the dBA
White 240 mm Corsair iCue H 100 i Elite Capellix Recommended Price is 159, 90 euros and 360 mm Corsair iCue H 159 i Elite Capellix in turn 189, 90 euros. The coolers are available on the manufacturer’s website immediately, although stock balances appear to be zero so far. No further details are yet available.
Following the success of the first all-in-one liquid cooling of EK Waterblocks , the company has decided to move forward through this market route by launching a new range called EK-AIO Basic, which will arrive with the characteristic quality of the company, but with a much more basic design that will allow these refrigerations to reach competitive prices.
The EK-AIO Basic will arrive in sizes of 240 and 360 mm , with a minimalist design in which Brushed black aluminum and, in general, black will predominate, something that will allow the new EK Waterblocks coolers to adapt to any style without hindrance. er vision.
In any case, the new EK-AIO Basic, as well as the EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB, arrive with a maintenance-free design, something that is always you expect from an all-in-one cooling and that is usually its main attraction compared to a custom system .
The EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB that we have just mentioned, for its part, comes with a more striking design than that of the EK-AIO Basic and really comes with different aspirations, because with six Vardar fans installed on your radiator of 360 mm , we can count on a fairly high cooling power without suffering too much air noise.

The next weeks go by, and the situation on the computer components market does not look any better. The availability of graphics cards and their prices are absurd, and other components are also damaged – processors, motherboards and finally cases. The latter, like the GPU, on the market are definitely less than usual, and those that have been left in stores often have prices higher than before. Fortunately, the largest manufacturers are trying to save the situation by issuing new constructions. One of them is Corsair, which has just presented a family of cases 5000. Today on the pages of PurePC we will test the basic, but still highly developed model simply called Corsair 5000 D.

Anyone who considers himself an enthusiast of new technologies should know the name “Corsair” very well. It is an American computer hardware company that has been on the market for 1994. Their offer includes a wealth of various products, often focused on gaming. We are talking about keyboards, mice, headsets, power supplies, fans, liquid cooling systems (AiO and LC), efficient SSDs and RAM modules, gaming chairs, small, ready-made computer sets and finally cases. All available in various options, to satisfy both the demanding consumer and the ordinary layman, or to reach both people with thinner and thicker wallets.
Corsair 5000 D is a new Mid Tower enclosure with an ascetic appearance, but inside it hides a lot of interesting and convenient solutions aimed at slightly more demanding consumers.
Although at first glance Corsair 5000 D is very similar to the Corsair iCUE 4000 X and Corsair models that we tested in September. D Airflow, the newer housing has a number of various improvements aimed mainly at the so-called “power users”, including a more modern I / O panel, which was enriched with a USB connector 3.1 Gen 2 type C, better cable arrangement system or better adaptation to fans of liquid cooling systems This time the American design can accommodate heat sinks from AiO and / or LC not only on the top and front, but also on the side. state Standard flavors such as a metal cellar, side panel made of tempered glass, HUB for fans or the possibility of vertical mounting of a graphics card.
Front panel outputs: 1x USB 3.1 Gen 2 type C / 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 type A / 1x Audio
Soundproofing mats: none
Corsair cooling system 5000 D:
2 x 140 or 3 x 120 mm (1x 120 mm Factory / Front)
1 x 120 mm (1x 120 mm Factory / Rear)
2 x 140 or 3 x 120 mm (Top)
3x 120 mm (Side)
Anti-dust filters: Front / Down / Up / Side
Corsair 5000 D is a large, two-chamber Mid Tower with dimensions of 520 x 245 x 520 (depth x width x height) millimeters and weighs almost 14 kilograms. It was made of steel, tempered glass and plastics. Inside, we will mount motherboards in E-ATX format (305 x 277 mm), ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX; graphics cards up to 420 millimeters; CPU cooling up to 170 millimeters and power supplies not longer than 225 millimeters. Expansion cards have seven horizontal and two vertical “pegs” at their disposal, while data carriers have two dedicated 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch slots. When it comes to ventilation, we can mount up to ten fans here, two of which we already get with the housing. All openings are protected with fine filters.
EK Water Blocks still primarily stands for self-made water cooling, but the range of EK-AiO cooling continues to grow. This is proven by two freshly presented basic models – and a special edition for buyers who are looking for a special look.
After EK-AIO D-RGB and EK-AIO Elite D-RGB is the EK -AIO-Basic series is the third AiO cooling series from EK. The company describes this series as a completely black and unlit alternative for price-conscious buyers. The pump cover in the style of brushed aluminum (presumably plastic with a corresponding look) looks, at least visually, quite noble. For the time being, two models of the new series will come onto the market: The EK-AIO Basic 360 with 360 – mm radiator and the EK-AIO Basic 229 with 240 – mm radiator.
Both models are pre-filled and maintenance-free AiO cooling. The cooler-pump unit is connected to the aluminum radiators with nylon-sheathed hoses. EK-Vardar S Black Edition are used as fans. The speed of this 120 – mm fan can be set via PWM in the range of 550 to 2. 200 RPM can be adjusted. EK specifies a speed range for the pump from 850 to 2. 600 rpm. These AiO cooling systems are suitable for AMD socket AM4 and for the Intel socket LGA 115 x, 1200, 2011, 2011 – 3 and 2066 .
The EK-AIO Basic models can already be ordered in the EK webshop. The EK-AIO Basic 240 should 89, 90 Euro and the EK-AIO Basic 360 119, 90 Euros cost
Anything but basic – the EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB
If you can’t make friends with the subtle and unlit basic models, you can still use the A-RGB models from EK. With the EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB, an even more eye-catching special edition is now coming onto the market. The product name with the Latin word for gold already makes it clear what makes the EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB so special. EK gives her a shiny, gold-colored pump cover. As with the regular EK-AIO Elite 360 D-RGB, six A-RGB fans are used in a push-pull configuration.
The EK-AIO Elite Aurum 360 D-RGB can be pre-ordered on the EK page; delivery is scheduled to start at the beginning of February. While the regular EK-AIO Elite 360 costs D-RGB, the gold version 229, 90 Euro due.
As part of the EK EXPO, water cooling manufacturers presented, among other things, the already known water cooler for the new GeForce RTX – 30 – and Radeon-RX – 6000 – cards, but also concepts for a water-cooled backplate and the MSI MPG CARBON Z 590 EK X with pre-assembled water cooling block.
In addition to the water-cooled backplate, EK Water Blocks is also working on other concepts that should facilitate the use and operation of a water cooling circuit. Among other things, one wants to make the cooling more flexible, which previously usually meant that AiO cooling was used. Depending on the case manufacturer, there are often special models or devices that facilitate the use of water cooling.
Among other things, an external housing has been developed, which under a Lian Li O 11 Dynamic should fit. This housing contains the most important components of the water cooling circuit – pump, expansion tank and radiator (s). The actual coolers are located on the components in the O 09 Dynamic.
Such solutions would of course always be tailored to exactly one housing, because very few housings share the same dimensions. Housings, which are particularly popular with water cooling fans, would of course be a possible target group for such products, even though the housings are suitable for water cooling, precisely because they offer sufficient space or provide special devices for installing a pump. With a kind of external housing, they would no longer need this advantage. For this very reason, EKWB is currently evaluating such a product.
Another concept shows an open housing, which can be mounted on the wall using a VESA bracket. If you need more mounting options for a radiator, you can mount a corresponding bracket. There is still very little information about this project and the possibility of mounting a housing on the wall is not really a novelty – a few open housings or those with a glass cover can already be mounted on the wall, although not using a VESA Bracket.
In the run-up to the CES, MSI published a teaser that is based on the new Sea Hawk cards of the GeForce RTX – 30 – series indicated. The assumption at the time that MSI would again enter into a partnership with EK Water Blocks or Corsair, however, has not been confirmed, because MSI is going a different way this time.
MSI is for the Sea-Hawk -Series entered into a cooperation with Asetek, who also hold certain patents in the field of AiO water cooling, which make certain designs only possible if designs from Asetek are used. The AiO water cooler cools the GPU and memory modules, while a fan on the card supplies the other components with fresh air. We have seen such a hybrid design with water cooler in combination with air cooling.
The Asetek cooler has a copper base plate with micro fins, through which the waste heat from the base plate is released to the coolant. As already mentioned, the base plate covers the GPU and memory. Thermal paste is used on the GPU, while MSI uses thermal pads for the GDDR6 (X) memory modules. The VRMs and other components on the PCB are cooled by an axial fan on the card. This is located in the rear area of the card.
The heat exchange with the ambient air takes place by means of a 240 – mm radiator made of aluminum and on which two 120 – mm fans sit. The in-house Torx Fans 4.0 should be able to convey the necessary air volume through the radiator. In idle mode, not only does the individual fan on the card stand still, but also the two fans on the radiator.
MSI still owes us further technical data on the Sea Hawk series. So we don’t know which models of the GeForce RTX – 30 – series will be available as Sea Hawk variants. However, it should come down to the GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090. This also means that we do not yet know any clock specifications for the card (s). It is also unclear when the Sea Hawk card (s) will be available on the market and what they should cost.
Another of the PC products that MSI announced at its CES event 2021 has been All in One liquid cooling MPG CORELIQUID K 360, a new member that joins the RL AIO “Coreliquid” of the company incorporating a triple radiator with three fans MSI TORX FAN 3.0.
The RL AiO MSi MPG CORELIQUID K 655 has a 2.4-inch screen and a 60 mm in the block
One of the novel features that the K 360 is the inclusion of a 2.4 inch LCD panel that displays information about the PC, with performance monitoring, clock, temperatures or simply photographs chosen by the user.
In addition to the three fans TORX 3.0 with ARGB lighting , the water block where the LCD is housed has a cooling system Extraction equipped with a 13 TORX FAN 3.0 fan inside to help in cooling the block and also the board VRMs.
We will have to wait for MSI to reveal more information about the specifications, price and availability of this All In One liquid cooling equipment.

The ports will include Bluetooth 5.1 as well as two Thunderbolt 4 ports (with USB-C).
MSI Prestige Test 10 with Intel Core i7 – 10710 U and GeForce GTX 1650
The last noteworthy design presented during the event was the desktop MSI Creator P 41 , so a computer for creating content. Although its housing is only 5 liters in volume, the Creative Center has a lot to offer. Supports Intel Core i9 processors and the latest GeForce RTX graphics cards 3000. Built-in Thunderbolt 4 ensures high speeds and enables LAN use 01 GbE. The Creator series also includes a laptop MSI Creator 15 , which will be powered by Intel Core i7 – 10870 H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics 3070 Max-Q and RAM to 32 GB. You can read about the company’s new ultrabooks in the news, however, MSI presents new laptops with GeForce RTX cards 3000 and WiFi 6E . These include Stealth 15 M, GE 76 Raider and GF 60 Thin.
After getting our first look at MSI’s latest gaming laptops last night, the company also unveiled a host of new PC components and peripherals. Chief among these are the new RTX 30-series Sea Hawk GPUs, while we also saw new monitors, coolers and more.
Starting first with the Sea Hawk range, right now it’s not clear which exact GPUs will get the Sea Hawk treatment aside from the RTX 3090 – but we’d say an RTX 3080 is also likely. These cards use a 240mm AIO in tandem with a single fan on the card itself, and MSI says this means ‘the combined advantages of both air and liquid cooling come together with dedicated fan cooling and an all-in-one closed-loop liquid cooling solution that is efficient, silent and requires absolutely no maintenance.’
MSI is working with Asetek for this cooler, with the OEM manufacturer stating the AIO is capable of dissipating up to 350 Watts. Asetek also added that the Sea Hawk cooler uses ‘a newly designed and unique cold plate’ which has been optimised for 30-series GPUs via its new fin area, while the cooler also extends to the VRAM modules on the PCB.
Elsewhere, MSI confirmed it will be bringing its first SSDs to the market. Right now details are fairly sparse, but we know these will be PCIe 4.0 drives, using TLC NAND flash with speeds up to 7000 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. MSI also stated a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of 1.6 million hours.
We also got a look at MSI’s flagship Z590 board, the MEG Godlike. MSI announced thirty Intel 500-series boards earlier in the week, and claimed the Godlike motherboard is the definition of an ‘extreme gaming motherboard’. Not much is known about the spec yet, aside from an expected 18+1+1 power phase design.
MSI is continuing to manufacture liquid coolers, a relatively recent venture for the company, as the CoreLiquid K360 was also announced during the presentation. This 360mm AIO uses Torx 4.0 fans to generate ‘supreme airflow’, while a 60mm Torx 3.0 fan is placed within the pump/waterblock unit ‘providing concentrated cooling to power solutions’. The block is also home to a 2.4in LCD display which can display system information. We’d guess MSI is using Asetek as the OEM for this unit.
We also got a look at two new business-oriented monitors, forming part of MSI’s MD series. The screens in question are the MD271 and MD241, utilising Type-C connectivity and a tool-free design ‘to effortlessly connect and charge, and assemble or disassemble for a VESA mounting environment’. MSI also emphasise the anti-flicker and low blue-light technologies, for which the screen is TUV certified. Panel specifics were not revealed at the time.
Lastly, MSI unveiled its latest gaming mouse, the Clutch GM41 Lightweight. Despite the name, we don’t know how much the GM41 weighs, but it is an ambidextrous design with a 16000 DPI sensor, possibly PixArt’s PMW 3389. It also uses MSI’s ‘FriXionFree Cable’, likely a paracord-style cable designed to minimise drag or kinking.
