This new generation of fonts Corsair of the CX series stands out for many things, but in my eyes it does so for two important elements. On the one hand, they are efficient and have adequate prices for that efficiency and on the other they are really compact sources that are especially useful in compact boxes that support ATX formats and where we want to save space with those centimeters less and with their completely modular wiring configuration. .
This new series presents a characteristic completely white color, both on the cover of the source itself and on the wiring, finished in black only at the connection points of both the source and the cables. Another of its most recognizable characteristics is its very compact size, with only 140 mm long, which used to be the standard years ago but is now not easy to find being the 160 size long usual in mid-range sources with these powers between 550 Y 759 w that also offers this new Corsair series.
We can currently find sources with more than 240 mm long so, although this was the standard years ago, the truth is that now it is a very compact source, visibly more compact than other “normal” sources such as the Gigabyte withthe one that we have compared in the image.

Corsair has installed a continuous rotation fan, otherwise the ARGB would not be very funny, with a very controlled curve and with 130 mm in diameter. Analysis and conclusion
This series is still one of the simplest Corsair series, but it has some characteristics that can make it very interesting for certain types of users. On the one hand, it is tremendously compact for its power and it also has a good lighting system which makes it a quite special source, at least in reference to the latest models that have passed through my hands from different manufacturers.
As for the technical part, it is a mid-range source with nothing to highlight, except perhaps the good sound behavior of its fan despite not having a complete stop mode. Its certification is justified and it even offers a little more efficiency than we could expect at average consumption. That speaks well for its internal design. Even so, it is still a mid-range font, which will do its job perfectly, no doubt, but without anything really remarkable on the technical side.
