FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX supports Wi-Fi 6 in the 2.4 GHz spectrum with up to 600 Mbit/s. With Powerline, the data is distributed over the electrical wiring with up to 1,200 Mbit/s. This means PCs and TVs receive a high-speed data stream over your home's power lines and smartphones and the like surf reliably in the Wi-Fi.

The 2x2 MIMO function, whereby two transmitters and receivers exchange data simultaneously via the three wires of the circuit, provides the speed boost via the electrical wiring.
