Acer Swift 3X – ultrabook with Intel Tiger Lake and Iris Xe MAX Graphics

Yesterday, the next @ acer conference was held, where several new products were presented. One of the most interesting laptops, which, however, was not shown at all during the online broadcast is the Acer Swift 3X, which will be the next device after the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14, which will be equipped with a dedicated graphics card Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics. This chip was previously known as DG1 – Discrete Graphics 1. The notebook will be available for sale from December, with a price starting from 899 euros. We expect Intel to finally reveal details of its first dedicated Xe-based graphics card in the coming days.

Acer unveiled the Swift 3 ultrabook X , featuring Intel Tiger Lake processors and Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics.

Acer Swift 3 X will be based on Intel Tiger Lake-U generation processors 11. We get a choice of 4-core and 8-thread Intel Core i5 units – 1135 G7 and Intel Core i7 – 1165 G7. In the case of the dedicated Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics card, we only know that it had 4 GB of VRAM and 96 Execute units Units. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not disclose more information, which means that Intel plans to discuss all the details of its GPU. According to unofficial reports, the Intel Iris Xe MAX Graphics may be presented later this week.

Acer Swift 3 X laptop will receive 14 – inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and with a brightness of 300 nits and with 100% sRGB color coverage. Among the ports we can find, among others Thunderbolt 4, 2x USB 3.2 Type A Gen.2, HDMI 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio-jack socket. There will also be fast wireless connectivity in the form of WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. More details about the notebook have yet to be revealed. The actual premiere will take place in December and then we will hear more about the Acer Swift 3 X .
