Yesterday I informed you about new products from TCL, i.e. smartphones from the series 20, which include models 20 5G and 20 SE. However, you have to be aware that at this year’s CES, the manufacturer also presented new Alcatel 1S smartphones (2021) and Alcatel 3L (2021). The devices present a similar level, but there are some differences that should be mentioned. The Alcatel 1S model is a truly budget proposition, the price of which is about PLN 500 . The 1L variant is a bit more expensive, because the smartphone costs below 700 in a stronger configuration. Will refreshing last year’s models turn out to be a bull’s eye? We do not know this, but we can look at the specifications.

Alcatel 1S (2021) and Alcatel 1L (2021) are two new smartphones from TCL, which were presented during this year’s Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas. We check what they offer.

Let’s start with the lower model, which was priced at 82 euro. The smartphone received 6, 52 low-resolution IPS screen 1600 x 720 pixel aspect ratio 20: 9. Performance is ensured by MediaTek Helio P 20, PowerVR GE Graphics 8320 and, depending on version, 3 GB or 4 GB RAM. The data will be saved on 32 GB or 64 GB of internal memory . In the subject of photography, we can count on a set consisting of the main camera 48 MP and two 2MP auxiliary cameras for depth detection and macro shots. The 5 MP camera (f / 2.2) is responsible for the selfie. Alcatel 1S (2021) is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh.

Alcatel 1L (2021) costs 149 Euro, for which we get 6, 52 – inch IPS screen working in the same resolution as the 1S model (2021) and MediaTek MTK layout 6762 D with GE graphics 8320. In addition, there is space for 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of data memory. The latter can be extended with another 512 GB with a microSD card. The main photo setup is identical to the unit used in the lower model, but the selfie camera is not 5 MP, but 8 MP. The battery is the same cell with a capacity 4000 mAh.
