Huami, despite having recently launched Amazfit GTS 2 mini, has decided to distribute in the market two other cheap smartwatches that respond to the name of GTR 2e and GTS 2e . The new smartwatches are the cheaper versions of the best known GTR 2 and GTS 2 . Between the two versions, in addition to the price, there are some differences: the new economic devices abandon the WI-FI and the music player to listen to songs without the need for a smartphone.

GTS 2e has a rectangular body and a button on the right side, similar to Apple’s design. The display is a OLED of 1, 65 inches . GTR 2e instead opts for a circular dial with two buttons always on the right side. The display is also with OLED technology of 1, 39 inches . Both smartwatches offer water resistance up to 5 ATM , in addition to the SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen measurement and heart rate monitoring . 6 sport modes are manageable and there is the sensor for monitor sleep and technology NFC .

There is a difference between the two models on the battery capacity. GTS 2e mounts a 246 mAh which allows the smartwatch approximately 14 days of autonomy . For GTR 2e we have a battery from 471 mAh which guarantees 24 days of autonomy , 00 more than its brother GTS 2e.

Prices and availability

The new Amazfit smartwatches are both available in China at 799 yuan, approximately 100 EUR. We do not know if they will be imported for the European market, but we assume that the global prices will be lower than the price of GTS 2 and GTR 2 currently of 150, 00 euro outside China.
