Less than an hour ago we mentioned that in Chile a truck full of PlayStation 5 from a Sony distributor had been robbed , thus delaying the delivery of all the PlayStation 5 that were destined for one of the largest chains in Latin America, but it seems that there are also problems around the world, because although in Spain we have seen cases isolated from stolen consoles, in the United Kingdom the problem is so numerous that Amazon is investigating several orders that have suffered the same fate.
The mode of theft is the same, and it is that users are seeing how the boxes with their supposed consoles are arriving do with a variety of elements , from building bricks to cat food to toy weapons, so it seems that we could be facing cases of theft at different stages of the delivery, from the exit of its warehouse or even in transit to the customer’s home.
As mentioned, Amazon is investigating these cases and, in some cases, providing vouchers for use on the platform as compensation for the inconvenience , although of course, if the consoles do not appear in a reasonable amount of time, additional units will simply be shipped, albeit with a delivery date unknown.
